When people ask me how do you generate funds for your football programs, the first thing I talk about are the discount cards that Momentum produces for us. We have sold the cards for the past 10 years and will continue to do so in the future. Our players expect to sell the cards and are motivated to do so. Our local businesses which participate have seen the cards as a positive experience. Now that the cards are established in the community we find that anyone who buys a card wants another year after year. The biggest winner of course is Sylvan Lake Minor Football, we can count on $ 5000 or more per season from the sale of the discount cards.
